A week of natural beauties and sweet delights
Normally we take Sunday off. Packing the pews, of course. But on May 13, Berghain will just have to get by without us. Sunday or not, we’ll be welcoming guests to our eatery. Why? The RAW wine weekend is returning to Berlin.
Please note that on Saturday, May 12 Nobelhart & Schmutzig will be hosting a special evening with Dard & Ribo. François Ribo’s wines will NOT be available at RAW.
We’ll also dig out a few “natural” treasures from our cellar. Mostly mature vintages of some of the bottles you can taste at RAW. Maybe a few other surprises as well. And, because sometimes the challenging things in life go best with a little candy, we’re also going to dust off a few interesting Auslese, Beerenauslese, Trockenbeerenauslese and Eisweine from the Mosel and the Rheingau.
We love both extremes and refuse to choose between them. Unfortunately, as the old German saying goes: you can’t dance at everyone’s wedding at the same time. (It makes more sense in German. Then again so do a lot of things.) So for this one week (May 8 – May 13), our regular beverage paring will be thrown out and we’ll be serving SOLELY these incredible treasures by the glass. Trust us, you won’t mind.
Should you be unable to score reservations for this week, consider swinging by a bit later in the evening for a glass (or bottle, or two). Take a seat near some strangers and perhaps you will end the evening in better company than you started it.

PS: On Sunday, last call will be 2am. After all, Billy and his hardworking team have a standing appointment for a team-building excursion involving Berlin’s nightlife.
