Nobelhart & Schmutzig Überall

Our dinner series takes you to places where you wouldn’t normally eat – into artist studios, flower shops, clubs, churches and factories.

We believe that food and drink help us experience and grasp our world, especially beyond the confines of a restaurant or dinner table.

Überall is ‘vocally local’ in more ways than one: you’ll be experiencing our trademark cuisine made from the best ingredients from the area around Berlin in dialogue with the event’s particular location and the people who make each place what it is. After all, food is not just fuel, but one of the most immediate and intimate ways of relating to the world around us; a shared table a place of exchange and openness. Because food culture is culture.

For this dinner series, the event spaces serve as more than atmospheric backdrops. Rather, we work with what each particular place has to offer. And perhaps you won’t be having dinner, but döner. There also might be more than just one event in each place, but several different occasions on which to explore a Nobelhart experience away from our usual Friedrichstraße haunt.

ATELIER TORBEN GIEHLER

Torben Giehler sure kept busy during the lockdown. When we visited his studio a few weeks ago, we were overwhelmed by the amount of new works and projects he’s got cooking. If you, too, are curious, here’s your opportunity to pay a visit to Torben’s studio and enjoy some Nobelhart food while you’re at it. On Saturday, we’ll be serving up a multi-course meal on one of his canvases; the following day, we’ll be providing Kebap and Ayran at his open studio (no need to book).

Saturday, July 18th, 7 pm – Studio Torben Giehler, Telegrafenweg 21, 13599 Berlin – A proper meal with drinks, 220 Euro. 12 seats

ALTE MÜNZE BERLIN
feat. JENNIFER CARDINI & TRIKK

Normally, Jennifer Cardini (Correspondant) graces the decks at Panorama Bar or Burning Man, but what’s normal this year!? Still, we’re badly in need of good music and excellent company and some Berlin summer vibes. Since all of that tends to go rather well with great food, we’ll be setting up shop for one night at Alte Münze Berlin’s scenic courtyard. Enjoy a family style dinner, plenty of drinks as well as two sets from Jennifer and her colleague Trikk (Innervisions). We’re expecting good weather, but if that doesn’t work out, we’ll set up inside Alte Münze Berlin instead.

Friday, 31st of July, 7:30pm – Spreegalerie @ Alte Münze Berlin, Molkenmarkt 2, 10179 Berlin – a family-style dinner and Nobelhart drinks for €185. 65 seats.

Âme’s own Kristian Rädle has promised to get behind the decks to play an ambient set from the last 100 years, featuring  “everything that isn’t techno.”
