Week 18 Nobelhart & Daheim
NOBELHART & DAHEIM
Please note: It’s German Mother’s Day on May 10th! Get your supper delivered on Saturday the 9th to treat your mother to a fabulous Nobelhart dinner on Sunday.
Your very own Nobelhart care package comes with a full meal prepared by Micha Schäfer, a bottle or two from our well-stocked cellar and everything else you need to get that Nobelhart feeling going in your own home.
For pick-up or delivery, for you alone or as many people as you’d like to invite. We’ve done all the prep work, so you won’t even need grumpy Micha in your kitchen.
We miss you, our cherished guests! That’s why we kindly ask you to phone in orders – we much prefer to have a nice chat with you than processing orders through an anonymous online shop.
Menus will be changing weekly with the coming week’s new menu released every Friday. Sign up to our newsletter.
Tuesday, April 28 – Saturday, May, 2020
Having your meal on the day of the delivery is going to make for the best culinary experience. However, unless you’re very hungry, you’re probably going to have leftovers. They’ll taste great for lunch the next day. We’ve given you enough bread, oil and cream cheese to last for a few days.
Be sure to visit Nobelhart & Schmutzig Hausgemachtes to order wine, beer as well as delicious things from our kitchen such as sauces, oil, jus, ice cream or elderflower sugar.
How to order:
The quickest way to order is by giving us a call between 10 am and 6 pm Tuesdays to Saturdays (+49 30 259 4061 – 0). Alternatively, you can send us an email including your phone number () and we’ll call you back. If you leave us a message, feel free to leave only your name, your number and the date for which you’d like your order.
Your package contains a loaf of “Vinschgerl” rye bread from Florian Domberger Brotwerk in Moabit, spiced with fennel and pepper. We’re also including a bottle of linseed oil from Ölmühle an der Havel and our very own cream cheese made with milk from Erdhof Seewalde. Spring has finally sprung! Look forward to crispy salad leaves, gently infused with rye grass oil. Bauer Zielke’s young spinach comes with a hearty broth of green beans. Tyrolean-style ravioli filled with potato and rocket (arugula for the Americans among you) make a wonderful contrast to young “Eiszapfen” radishes from Johanna Häger Gärtnerei Ilse und Hans. These are served with a wild game stock cooked up from animals hunted by Jörg Korte in the Schorfheide. Finally, we’ve got deliciously small fennel bulbs with our homemade lard. If you’re vegetarian, we are happy to swap out the wild game stock for creamy horseradish and lard for breadcrumbs. As a sweet finish, we’ve whipped up deliciously puffy profiteroles filled with an egg cream infused with juniper. Please note: With no guests coming to our restaurant, our staff no longer get any tips. As you can imagine, this means a serious loss for them. To cushion the blow, we’ve decided to add a 5% tip to the cost of your supper (excluding any drinks, chocolates or ice cream you might order). Of course, we’re also happy if you’d like to tip more! Bookable as an extra course: Angus beef ragout from Hof Landgeschmack Made from a seven-year old heifer fed only with hay and meadow grass. Also, be sure to get yourself some ice cream, chocolates, oil or soup from our budding Nobelhart & Schmutzig Hausgemachtes shop! Connecting with others is essential. We’ve created a virtual dining table for you to join on the day of your delivery, which will allow you to share your experience with that day’s other guests. You’ll receive the Zoom link and password on the day of your booking. We’ve asked our friends at Muting the Noise what we should be listening to this week. Here’s their recommendation: Artist: Hubur Album: Music From The Archive We’ve racked up some recommendations over the past weeks! This is our Muting the Noise & Home playlist – save the link and keep listening! Our food and drink are known to have certain effects. To be on the safe side, we’re including one Einhorn condom in your package. Also, be sure to get yourself some ice cream, chocolates, oil or soup from our budding Nobelhart & Schmutzig Hausgemachtes shop!
